How do you actually stop IBCs leaking in the first place?

We’ve had two small leaks from IBCs in the last year, nothing serious but enough to make a mess and waste stock, and I’m starting to think the problem is our setup rather than bad luck. Both times it was the valve area, and both times we caught it late because nobody checks them regularly. I’ve been reading up on how to prevent IBC spills in UAE warehouses and it mentions things like proper handling, secondary containment and regular inspection, but I’d rather hear from people running real warehouses than from a supplier’s blog. What actually works for you? Do you inspect on a schedule, do you use drip trays under the valves, and has anyone found a specific type of containment that’s held up in this heat without going brittle?
